  I initially booked a table for 10 people for Mother's Day, I checked that it was the Seaham restaurant but when we got there it was very busy with queues out the door. The first member of staff was friendly but informed me I'd booked for their Roker restaurant which is miles away from Seaham. However, she was really lovely & managed to make space for our family to have back to back booths. The prices hadn't been put up just because it was Mother's Day. Their was also a children's menu with plenty of choice. The waiting staff were really miserable & wouldn't even crack a smile, nothing like the friendly welcome we got when we came in. Unfortunately the fish & chips were average, nothing to write home about but they did come quickly. Having not been here before it could just have been because they were exceptionally busy & the quality had slipped. On a positive note, the restaurant itself was light with smart white tiles on the wall & smart comfortable seating booths. We still all had a really good time.
